I know, I know. Same as always, it's been a long time.
I know, I know. Same as always, it's been a long time.
I was out playing a bit of golf today. First round of this year. I played a great round scoring 39 stableford-points (3 under par) even scratching 4 holes. Not having scored a sub-par round in almost 2 years I was exited, until we entered the clubhouse that is... We were playing by winter rules apparently, so I could'nt be ajusted (handicap)... Bugger!!
I don't even know what these winter rules are?!? We played as we've always done. Well, I'll have to have my revenge next time!!
There's probably been a lot of other stuff going on since my last blog also, but I don't wanna bother you with that (plus I can't think of anything right now) so that's all you get this time around :)

It's Christmas time again
It's Christmas time again
Well not quite yet, but it's comming soon.
A lot has happened since the last post, and nothing has happened.
I've only played one single round of golf, that was not impressive at all, but that has been this season in a nutshell.
I've played a bit of football, but due to my operation I haven't been playing at a high level. And then the season ended, just when I was starting go get into shape. But next year... Damn, that's starting to be my motto.
It's time for Christmas parties and I'm going to my fair share, with more to come and looking forward to spending the holiday with the family.
I know, I know, this isn't much, but it's all you're gonna get.
Enjoy Christmas and have a very happy New Year.

Too little, too late...
Too little, too late...
I know, it's been ages since my last post, and I should write more, but that doesn't seem likely. So what has happened sinde my last post? Can't really tell you, 'cause I don't know what I've done so many weeks ago.
Of course I've played some golf and the results can be seen on my golf-page at h-larsen.dk but I haven't really played that well, but hopefully that will change in the future.
I haven't really played football that much, as an injury in my ancle restricted me, but I have played a lot of squash, so I'm still trying to stay in shape ;)
My before mentioned ancle was so bad that I had to undergo surgery. On july 4th I went on "the table" and had artoscopic surgery made, removing a lot of fragments from torn ligaments so hopefully this will help getting my football-life back on track. I went for a run yesterday and ran a few kilometers without that much discomfort, so that was nice.
I've finished "Island" and started on Dostoevsky's (Dostojevskij) "Crime and Punishment". Actually a very nice book, but I don't read as much as I would like.
I hope you've enjoyed the reading, because that all you get this time around.

As I said in my last blog, time flies.
As I said in my last blog, time flies.
It's been a few months since i last wrote here (4 to be precise) and a lot has happened, i think. The following is free from memory as it's hard to remember exactly what happened so long ago ;)
I wrote about indoor football in my last blog. We only finished second and missed promotion having a fairly bad last tournament suffering from being only four players, but finishing second isn't that bad after all.
Golf has been on a standstill, and I haven't played all winter but hopefully I'll get the chance again soon. Conditions are improving and I'm hoping to get out on the course during Easter.
The regular football season started on January 27th and I've played four games winning two and losing two and looking forward to the season starting.
Still I haven't been able to complete "Island" but hopefully it won't be long. I'm looking forward to getting to read something else.

Damn, time flies...
Damn, time flies...
Had another birthday, damn I'm getting old :(
Had the family over and made lunch. In the evening I went over to af friends house to go out on the town. We ended up getting a little tipsy and didn't go anywhere, but we had fun, as we always do.
On Sunday I played the first indoor football tournament of the season and we cleaned house with 4 victories in 4 games with a collective score of 18-7. We are now i first place and looking strong to compete for promotion. I hope we won't fold under the emence pressure :)
I haven't gotten that much further in "Island". It started really good, but it has turned into a debate on philosophy with endless rantings by the inhabitants of Pana (the Island) telling the leading character how their community is better than the rest of the world. Appealing at first but rather tiresome after a while. I'll have to pull myself together and get this book over with, so I can start the next one ;)
